Hello there, my name is Darrell Gwinn, but people call me Dirk. I live in a small southern Iowa town called Humeston, it is populated by 500 people or so. I'm in a band called Emphasis (www.myspace.com/emphasishappymusicforhappypeople), our guitarist never shows up to practice, so we're a little behind, we may be signing a deal with an indie label soon though. I like spending time (a lot of it) with my girlfriend of 1 year and 4 months, Kayla. She's beutiful, no seriously, she's got the looks that will stun you. Her and I are both devoted Christians and we are starting up a Christian hard rock band. She is an amazing singer. I work at a crappy job that only pays $9 an hour, what a joke, although it pays the bills. I love a lot of music, art, and words with deep meaning. Umm, feel free to comment me anytime, any place.
